The Balmandir was established in June 1986. In the beginning, a Balmandir (nursery) and a primary school were started. Initially, there were two sections named Ankur (for children aged 3 to 4 years) and Ram Ankur (for children aged 4 to 5 years).

Later, from 30th August of that year, 5-year-old children started going to Grade 1. In the mornings, children were welcomed in the playground from 8:00 to 8:30 am. After that, they would engage in activities in the ground.

Then, teachers would play instruments and call the children into classrooms, followed by music activities in the hall.
